STEP 1: Open Outlook Express. Windows 98/ME/2000 Users: go to Start, Programs, Outlook Express. Windows XP Users: go to Start, All Programs, then choose "Outlook Express". Windows Vista Users: go to Start, All Programs, then choose "Windows Mail".
STEP 2: Close any windows that pop-up after you Open Outlook Express / Windows Mail. Go to the toolbar at the top of the window, and click on "Tools", then choose "Accounts" from the drop-down menu.
STEP 3: Click on "Add" then choose "Mail" from the menu.
STEP 4: Fill in the Display Name field with your Name, Nickname, or whatever you wish to have displayed when you send someone an e-mail. Then click "Next" at the bottom.
STEP 5: Fill in your E-mail address. Then click "Next".
STEP 6: Make sure that POP3 is selected as the type of Incoming Mail Server. Fill in the fields under Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server with "mail.oppcatv.com". Then click "Next". (On Windows mail, be SURE to check the "Outgoing Server requires authentication" Box)
STEP 6A: On Windows Mail, be SURE to check the "Outgoing Server requires authentication" Box (circled in RED)
STEP 7: Fill in your password for your E-mail account in the Password field. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAPS LOCK ON! When you are finished, click "Next".
STEP 8: Click "Finish", and then "Close". Windows Mail should now be fully configured for receiving and sending E-mail with Oppcatv.com. Outlook Express users should click HERE to enable Sender Authentication.
