Opp Internet Service IRC Information

Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a "virtual meeting place" where
people from all over the world come together to meet and talk.
You'll find a diversity of interests, ideas and issues and you'll be
able to participate in group discussions on any of the IRC channels
or you can talk in private with friends or family anywhere in the world.

Connect up using your favorite IRC Chat client, or use our JAVA IRC client!
Some popular Chat clients are listed below, as well as a link to our JAVA IRC client.

the instructions carefully. Afterwards, to log onto the Opp Internet

marks). The port number is: 6667 (usually the default on IRC clients).
Click "connect", then choose a "channel" and have fun! If you want to
know which "channels" are available, type: "/list" (without quotes) and
a list of the active channels will be displayed. If you want to join a
channel type: "/join #channel-name" (without quotes). NOTE: you
must put the "#" hash symbol in front of the channel name. The
channel names are case-sensitive so pay attention! If you have
